In 1861, Sara Lucy Bagby Johnson was the last person in the United States to be prosecuted under the Fugitive Slave Act. Now, in 2011, Ms. Lucy's grave gets a marker.Read about it in the Plain Dealer.

The M.B. Scott Mausoleum has a new roof thanks to many volunteers who did the work, assisted with funding, and procured materials.
A new historical marker highlights the Woodland Gate. Fundraising has begun to install a matching marker at the Quincy Gate. Donations are always appreciated. (See Contact Us Page to contribute.)
